Jong-Rae Park, CEO of POSKOM, was awarded the Silver Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit in recognition of developing the world’s first battery-type portable X-ray device.

On the 29th, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) held the 18th Medical Device Day commemorative ceremony at the COEX Magok Convention Center in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.

During the event, a total of ten government decorations and commendations were presented.

CEO Park contributed to the advancement of the medical device industry with the portable X-ray system “AirRay-mini,” which weighs only 2.9 kg and achieves both mobility and performance. 

The product has been recognized as a Forbes World’s Innovative Product and received a CES Innovation Award.
