The Korea Medical Devices Industry Association (KMDIA) will participate in the 42nd Dubai Medical Devices Exhibition (Arab Health 2017) by organizing a Korean Pavilion from January 30 to February 2 at the Dubai World Trade Center.

According to the association, 77 Korean companies, including Restem, DK Medical, Poskom, DR GEM, Daehan Labtech, Medical Standard, Rimed, Botem, MECICS, Sejong Medical, and SMENG, will take part.

These companies plan to showcase products such as digital X-ray systems, patient monitors, laser surgical devices, high-frequency surgical devices, and rehabilitation equipment to the Middle Eastern market.

The exhibition participation is supported under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ trade promotion project, providing partial financial assistance to small domestic medical device companies.

Choi Seok-ho, head of the Overseas Business Team at KMDIA, said, “We organized the Korean Pavilion with various member companies to diversify our export items, including key products like ultrasound and digital X-ray systems.

This will provide an opportunity to engage Middle Eastern and other global buyers and assess export potential.”
