Seongjin Oh of Hyosung and Myunghak Lee of Poskom were selected as the winners of the April “Korea Engineer Award.

” Oh was recognized for developing light-thermal fibers that convert sunlight into heat energy, contributing to the advancement of Korea’s new materials industry. 

Lee was honored for developing medical X-ray equipment using an ultra-capacitor, enhancing competitiveness in domestic and international healthcare markets.

The Korea Engineer Award is presented monthly to encourage technological innovation and honor engineers in both large and small enterprises.
