The Korea Medical Devices Industry Association, supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, organized a Korean Pavilion at the 24th Medical Fair India 2018, held from February 16 to 18 at the Mumbai International Exhibition Center.

The fair, India’s largest medical device exhibition, featured 553 companies from 21 countries and attracted around 10,000 visitors.

A total of 20 Korean companies participated, including 15 at the Korean Pavilion, such as Poskom (digital X-ray), Daesung Marif (limb compression circulator), and Sewoon Medical (catheters). Poskom achieved a $200,000 on-site contract.

A company representative noted that India’s medical device market has grown significantly over the past decade, making now an ideal time for Korean firms to enter the market.
