The Korea Daseon Artists Association held a nationwide writing contest and poetry recital on the 16th at Haengjusanseong History & Culture Park and Hwajeong Station Cultural Square in Goyang, starting at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.

The event was supported by the Goyang City government and sponsored by social enterprises including poskom Co., YS Development, and LG Electronics Hwajeong Service Center.

An official stated, “Under the theme of peace, unification, and sharing, the ‘Peace Girl’ event carries the significance of healing national pride and historical pain, while marking the dawn of a new era.”
