Poskom (CEO Park Jong-rae) has launched the Mobile X-Ray System ultra-light mobile X-ray AirRay-20 and is strengthening marketing toward health centers, emergency rooms, and long-term care hospitals that frequently conduct mobile screenings.
The AirRay-20 weighs less than 5kg including the battery and is ultra-slim, allowing over 50 scans per charge.
It provides high-resolution diagnostic images from the chest to the lumbar spine and supports multiple charging options, including wireless, smartphone cable, and car cigarette lighter. It also features modern convenience functions such as DAP (dose measurement), laser pointer, remote control, and Bluetooth.
Poskom also introduced a mobile X-ray device weighing under 100kg, featuring a slim and compact design, full DR compatibility via Bluetooth, freestanding arms, 360-degree rotating wheels, and smart operation, which received attention during KIMES.
CEO Park stated that the products can be deployed in small health centers where large X-ray equipment cannot be installed, and poskom plans to continue developing technology to offer products capable of replacing conventional X-ray systems globally.
Last year, poskom achieved sales of 23.6 billion KRW, with 10.9 billion KRW generated from exports.
The company currently leads the U.S. portable X-ray market and is expanding exports to Europe, South America, and Central Asia.
