Park Jong-rae, CEO of portable X-ray manufacturer poskom, expressed high expectations for the company’s new product, AirRay. 

The device weighs only 5 kg, operates on a battery, and incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) to reduce X-ray image reading time by an average of 50%, improving workflow efficiency and reducing fatigue for medical staff.

Upon capture, images are immediately transmitted to a PC, including both the original and AI-analyzed high-resolution images, allowing medical professionals to compare and diagnose on the spot. 

The device also reduces radiation exposure for patients compared to previous models.

The new product has attracted international attention before domestic recognition. Last month, a delegation from the Vietnamese National Assembly’s Social Committee visited poskom to examine the device, showing keen interest in its application for remote medical services.

Park stated that he expects strong performance in global markets such as the U.S. and Europe, leveraging the company’s technological competitiveness, and plans to continue investing in digital solution development and commercialization.
