ReadyCure (CEO Jung Won-kyu) announced on the 20th that it will collaborate with poskom (CEO Park Jong-rae) to jointly develop a radiation therapy system dedicated to dementia.

The two companies signed a contract on the 17th, under which poskom will handle hardware development, while ReadyCure will be responsible for equipment validation, software development, regulatory clinical trials, and approvals.

Since 2016, ReadyCure has been researching Alzheimer’s-type dementia treatment using low-dose radiation and has secured optimized treatment technology through ongoing multicenter clinical studies.

The collaboration aims to advance the commercialization of the therapy system, including equipment development, mass production, and sales. 

A prototype is expected by the second half of this year, regulatory clinical trials in 2024, product approval in the second half of 2025, and mass production in 2026.

ReadyCure brings core dementia treatment technology, while poskom provides hardware development expertise.

The partnership is expected to accelerate the transition of laboratory-stage dementia treatment technology into practical, commercial applications.
