The luncheon meeting was held to share and celebrate the achievements of small and venture businesses while listening to diverse perspectives from the field.

President Yoon and Minister Lee Young visited product demonstration booths of six startups that achieved success in the UAE export market—including poskom, XBody, Wiset, Entreality, Eltek Korea, and Three Billion.

During the event, the startup representatives shared their experiences and achievements in entering the Middle East market, including the UAE, and discussed strategies for expanding into global markets.

Participants expressed pride in promoting South Korea’s national prestige and technological capabilities through the UAE visit, noting that follow-up export and investment deals are already underway. 

They also emphasized a renewed sense of responsibility after receiving direct encouragement from the President, while requesting continued government support, including regulatory improvements and assistance for overseas expansion.

Minister Lee highlighted that small and venture businesses account for 31.5% of South Korea’s exports to the Middle East and stressed that policy support will help these companies grow alongside large enterprises as key engines of economic growth.
