Korea National University of Transportation and poskom Sign MOU for Bio-Digital Collaboration.

Korea National University of Transportation (President Yoon Seung-jo) and poskom (CEO Park Jong-rae) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on February 6 to establish a “win-win ecosystem in the bio-digital field and build an R&D Hub.”

The agreement ceremony took place at the university’s U-Edu Center and was attended by President Yoon, key officials from the LINC 3.0 project, including ICC Director Gwak Kwang-bon, as well as poskom CEO Park and key company representatives.

With the university’s Bio-Digital Industry Collaboration Center (ICC) under the LINC 3.0 program, this partnership is expected to advance shared and collaborative systems in the bio-digital sector.

Both institutions expressed their commitment to value-driven industry-academia cooperation, aiming to foster new technology development, promote technology commercialization, and establish an R&D Hub for sustained collaboration.

They also discussed student-focused programs such as standard field training and capstone design to explore ways for mutual growth. Plans were considered for students to gain hands-on experience with poskom’s advanced medical devices.

Poskom CEO Park Jong-rae stated, “We hope Korea National University of Transportation’s talented students will contribute to poskom’s technological innovation and growth.

Through continuous collaboration, we hope to expand the scope of this MOU and achieve more together.”

University President Yoon Seung-jo said, “We will leverage our university’s strengths to maintain this partnership with poskom.

This agreement provides valuable experiences for our students and lays a foundation for mutual growth between the university and the company.”
